News! Our debut album 'Nightfall' has been released and is available on cd through Zennez Records, and as a download through BandCamp. The album is also available on the streaming platforms.
Sticky Wicked is a Dutch electric jazz, jazzrock and funk group. It consists of talented musicians who individually have played with many of today's great names in jazz and pop. The group's recently released compositions are considered original, fresh, and contemporary. And they are clearly the result of being inspired by decades of the finest music in jazz, rock, funk and electronic music.
Furthermore, performing live, Sticky Wicked uses well known jazzrock/funk standards as a basis for improvisation, as well as the opportunity to implement fresh new arrangements. These standards range from early work from artists and bands like Herbie Hancocks Headhunters, John Scofield, Weather Report, Wayne Shorter and Jeff Lorber.
